Using SellGrade does not create a broker-client, attorney-client, accountant-client, investment advisory, fiduciary, or agency relationship. Owners should consult qualified professional advisors before making decisions about selling, financing, restructuring, or transferring a business.

AI-assisted reporting

SellGrade uses structured scoring and AI-assisted narrative generation to summarize readiness signals. Reports should be reviewed as decision-support material, not as a definitive determination of business value, saleability, buyer interest, or transaction outcome.

Information provided by users

Report quality depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information submitted by the user. Owners should avoid submitting highly sensitive information that is not necessary for the diagnostic. SellGrade stores submitted assessment answers, scores, and reports so the owner can access results and so SellGrade can improve the product experience.

Privacy-oriented MVP posture

The current MVP is designed to collect only the information needed to generate and deliver the diagnostic: owner contact details, business basics, assessment answers, score outputs, payment identifiers, and report content. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by SellGrade.
